About the work

My client came to me and asked for Schrödinger’s Cat - anyway I could envision it.

How do you begin to draw a cat in a box that’s either alive or dead, that works with the shape of the body in any way that’s pleasing to the eye!?

It was a fun challenge!

About the artist

Originally from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Lou moved to London to pursue her love of tattooing.
Years working in street  shops, taking walk-ins, allowed her to develop a versatile style but she naturally gravitated towards  illustrative black-work focussed on the natural world but with leanings towards the macabre.
Lou currently works at in a private studio in East London providing custom work and predrawn designs which can be viewed on her website.
